After being discontinued for a decade and a half, 2019 saw the resurrection of the Passport nameplate on the Honda lineup. Now just a couple of years later, the 2021 Honda Passport continues to be an incredible option in the midsize crossover segment near Savannah GA. With a few additional standardized features for the new model year, the Passport is a great choice for any driver looking to get behind the wheel of a two-row utility vehicle with versatile space and the capability to tackle off-road adventures.
Not a whole lot needed to change for the 2021 model year, as its only the crossover’s third year back on the lineup. Even still, Honda decided to add a few great features to its laundry list of standard content. Unlike last year, the Honda Passport now features its display audio system as a standard feature, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
For 2021, the Passport is available in four different trim levels. The Sport, EX-L and Touring trims are each available with either a two-wheel or all-wheel drive system, while the top-of-the-line Elite trim level comes standard with AWD. Regardless of trim, your Passport will be powered by a 3.5L V6 engine capable of generating 280 horsepower alongside 262 pound-feet of torque. That’s plenty of power to get the job done even with a full load – be it cargo or people.
Features like its independent suspension system, Intelligent Traction management system and the available torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system available in each trim make the Passport the perfect Honda vehicle for off-roading. Even if you do tackle the road less traveled, you’ll feel confident thanks to a host of advanced driver-assistive safety features thanks to standard Honda Sensing.
