One of the most successful compact sedans over the last several years is back for 2019. We are talking about the Honda Civic Sedan, of course, and with a few upgrades and updates, this popular and sporty car is set to thrill drivers in a whole new model year. We’re currently waiting on the 2019 model to arrive at dealerships, though we have plenty to tide you over for the time being, including the 2018 Civic Sedan that has been a popular choice for many drivers.
We also have plenty of info and news to share with you about the 2019 model to prepare you for its upcoming arrival. Like we said, there are numerous updates, and that includes a new Sport trim, making the official lineup for the 2019 model as follows: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring. With the Sport trim specifically, however, you’ll find unique styling features, larger 18-inch wheels and an updated Display Audio infotainment system that includes a new interface.
This may be the best looking Civic yet, and with the LED headlights on the Touring trim and above, the Civic is easily an eye-catcher on the highway. This look is enhanced by a new wider and longer beam design.
Staying connected on the go couldn’t be easier thanks to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. Use many of your favorite smartphone apps through the built-in infotainment system, including music, calls and more.
Year-round, the Civic is equipped to keep you comfortable. Heated front seats come with the EX model and above, while the EX-L trim adds leather-trimmed seats for both comfort and luxury-level design.
So, that new Sport trim is pretty exciting, but regardless of which trim you choose, you’ll be happy to know that Honda Sensing® comes standard across the lineup. Included in the safety tech suite are the new automatic high beams, as well as Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning and more. Powering the car is a 2.0-liter engine with 158 horsepower, though a turbocharged power plant is also available with up to 174 horsepower.
The 2019 Honda Civic Sedan is looking to be a pretty desirable car, so wherever you are across the Lowcountry, whether near Savannah, Hilton Head or Beaufort, come see us at Hilton Head Honda. We’d be happy to get you behind the wheel of the 2019 model when it arrives or existing 2018 Civic models.
