What’s New and Changed for the 2019 Honda Pilot?
The times are changing… all the time. This is just as true in the automotive market as in any other industry, and in order for vehicles to stay modern and well-equipped, automakers have to keep up with those times. It certainly seems like Honda is doing just that with the 2019 Honda Pilot, which sees some new features and changes for the new model year.
The Pilot is an 8-passenger SUV and has been an ideal option for families for quite some time now. With that in mind, it’s important the Pilot maintains those family-friendly qualities in various aspects of the vehicle, and it certainly does that for 2019.
Family-Friendly Upgrades for the 2019 Honda Pilot
For example, consider those family road trips you go on or even driving to sports practices. How often do you walk out to your vehicle with luggage or sporting equipment in hand, only to have to set it all down to open the rear liftgate, then pick it all back up again and then find a place for it in the vehicle? With the 2019 model, a new available hands-free liftgate makes that problem a thing of the past.
Other family-friendly features include 4G LTE in-car Wi-Fi. Again, it’s great for those family road trips, allowing everyone to stay connected to their favorite apps on the go. Those in the front seat will also be able to enjoy a new Display Audio touchscreen that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Rear Entertainment System with Blu-Ray™ is also larger for the 2019 model year and has streaming video capability. Of course, if you ever want to cut through all the “technological noise,” you can use the CabinTalk® in-car PA system to make sure your kids can hear you talking to them in the back seat through the speakers.
