Updated Features

A host of updates have come to the sporty pickup truck for the new 2020 model year, not the least of which is a new 9-speed automatic transmission system featuring paddle shifters. Transitioning will be smoother than ever before, whether you choose to drive automatic or taking things into your own hands with the paddles. Things will be safer than ever as well, as Honda has standardized the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistive safety technologies across the board in the Honda Ridgeline. In addition, the rear doors open a bit wider than previous iterations and the tailgate can be locked remotely, adding even more convenience to the pickup.

While not everything in the vehicle is new, there’s still plenty to get excited about beyond just what’s new. Powered by the same 3.5L V6 engine as the previous version, it manages to generate up to 280 horsepower alongside 262 pound-feet of torque, both of which are great numbers for a pickup truck the size of the Ridgeline. Furthermore, it achieves 21 or 22 miles per gallon combined fuel efficiency depending on the drivetrain.

Potential Ridgeline owners can also get excited about the laundry list of Honda Genuine Accessories available, including back-up sensors, fender flares, a hard tonneau cover, heated steering wheel and much more.
