As these things tend to go, there is no exact release date for the model. That said, we do know that Honda has stated the Insight will be a 2019 model. Moreover, Honda has also stated that it will arrive in dealerships in late 2018, so you can expect to see it on sale sometime in the fall of this year.

Being a hybrid, of course, you’ll want to first know about its efficiency. Moreover, it is expected to still deliver excellent power from its two-motor hybrid drivetrain, which consists of a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine, electric propulsion motor and lithium-ion battery.

Inside, the Insight will offer all the luxuries you would expect from such a model. These include available perforated leather seating, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch LCD driver’s meter and, of course, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay paired with Wi-Fi capability. The Insight will also be high tech in the safety department too, as it includes Honda LaneWatch™ on EX models and above, as well as Honda Sensing™ that includes safety tech like Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control.
